There are 2 HDD bays on the bottom of the DS12 chassis. 2HD26 cage doubles these 2 HDD bays up to 4. So, you can put up to 4 regular HDD 3.5" in chassis when 2HD26 cages have been installed.

Apply 2HD15 cage,
to install 2,5" HDD in chassis DS12. The cage consists of two flanges,
they are different, so pay attantion when fastening them to HDD (look at the photo).
One cage is for two 2,5" regular 9mm HDDs.

| Riser Card and I/O card installation | |

Riser card (1U5L-e1, 1U5L-e4) is used to change the insert direction of I/O card to the slot of motherboard by -90 degrees. The I/O card is plugged into the riser card and resides parallel with the motherboard. The DS12 case and (1U5L-e1, 1U5L-e4) riser card provide expansion for one I/O card for each motherboard (system).
