DS12 TWIN 19" 1.5U Compact chassis 330mm DEEP

JANUS FAMILY® Two Mini-ITX motherboards were mounted inside of the chassis and each system's front panel controls included on/off switch, reset button; possibility to have face on front or back side; effectively doubling capacity with good connection options. Each system is powered by individual power supply. So, it could be two completely isolated servers inside the DS12 chassis. Thanks to compact design chassis can be used in non-deep racks or in add-on mini-cabinets within limited spaces (twin-node server, bandwidth monitor, firewall, router). Four chassis can be placed in the same 3U bay of standard 800mm deep rack with the help of holes in mounting brackets that allow to mount chassis with ½ U shift up or down.

There are 2 HDD bays on the bottom of the DS12 chassis. 2HD26 cage doubles these 2 HDD bays up to 4. So, you can put up to 4 regular HDD 3.5" in chassis when 2HD26 cages have been installed.

The cages 2HD26 are supplied as option. It is advisable to order cages together with chassis.

Apply 2HD15 cage, to install 2,5" HDD in chassis DS12. The cage consists of two flanges, they are different, so pay attantion when fastening them to HDD (look at the photo). One cage is for two 2,5" regular 9mm HDDs.

You can put in chassis up to 4 2.5" HDD in two cages 2HD15 on the places of two 3.5" HDD.

The cages 2HD15 are supplied as option. It is advisable to order cages together with chassis.

Riser card (1U5L-e1, 1U5L-e4) is used to change the insert direction of I/O card to the slot of motherboard by -90 degrees. The I/O card is plugged into the riser card and resides parallel with the motherboard. The DS12 case and (1U5L-e1, 1U5L-e4) riser card provide expansion for one I/O card for each motherboard (system).

If any connectors on your I/O card interfere with some metal connection straps on the back side of the DS12 chassis just cutout them by nipper. To make it easier, the connector zone of chassis' back side has been made netlike.

Riser card is supplied as option, but it is advisable to order required riser card together with chassis.
